Privacy Policy
Effective September 19, 2026
On this page
Local Made Web ("we," "us," or "our") built this website for our own business at localmadeweb.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us directly. When you fill out a contact form or sign up for our email list, we collect what you enter — typically your name, email address, and any message or project details you share.
Information collected automatically. When you browse the Site, our analytics and advertising tools automatically collect certain data, including your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and the date and time of your visit. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies described in Section 3.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to messages sent through our contact form and follow up on project inquiries
- Send email updates, offers, or newsletters to people who sign up, via our email platform Brevo
- Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it, using Google Analytics
- Measure and improve the performance of our ads, using the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel
- Maintain the security and proper functioning of the Site
3. Cookies and tracking technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies from the following tools:
- Google Analytics — helps us understand site traffic and visitor behavior.
- Meta Pixel — helps us measure the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram advertising and show relevant ads to people who have visited our Site.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the Site work, but the Site will still be usable. You can also opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and manage how Meta uses your data for ads through your Facebook ad preferences.
4. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to run the Site. Each handles data under its own privacy policy:
- Google Analytics — website traffic analytics
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel — ad measurement and retargeting
- Brevo — email marketing and newsletter delivery
These providers may use data collected on the Site for their own purposes as described in their respective privacy policies. We do not control how these third parties use data beyond what we've configured for our own use.
5. Email communications
If you sign up for our email list or submit your email through a form, we'll add your email to our Brevo account so we can send you updates, offers, or replies to your inquiry. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by clicking it or by emailing us directly at [email protected].
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- The service providers listed in Section 4, so they can perform the functions we use them for (analytics, ad measurement, email delivery)
- Law enforcement or other parties when required by law, or to protect our rights, property, or safety
7. Data retention and security
We keep contact form submissions and email list data for as long as needed to respond to inquiries and maintain our email list, or until you ask us to delete it. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we collect, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure.
8. Your choices
You can:
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email we send
- Block or delete cookies through your browser settings
- Opt out of Google Analytics and Meta ad tracking using the links in Section 3
- Request that we delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]
9. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for business owners and adults, and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect as soon as they're posted on this page, and the "Effective" date at the top will be updated to reflect the most recent revision.
