Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Local Made Web ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern any website design and development services you purchase from us through localmadeweb.com (the "Site"). By hiring us or making a payment toward a project, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

We design and build websites for small businesses, primarily childcare centers and similar local businesses, for a fixed price quoted before work begins. The exact scope, pages, and features included in your project are agreed upon and confirmed with you before your deposit is collected.

2. Payment terms

A deposit of 50% of your total quoted project price is due before we begin any work. The remaining 50% is due once the finished website is ready for your review, and before the site is handed over or made live. Payment is invoiced and collected through Stripe.

3. Revisions

Your project includes 2 rounds of revisions to the design and content of your site. Additional rounds beyond that are considered outside the original scope of work and will be billed at an hourly rate, quoted to you before the additional work begins.

4. Cancellation

If you cancel the project before the website is finished, your deposit is non-refundable and compensates us for the time and work already completed. No further payment is owed beyond the deposit already paid.

5. Ownership and intellectual property

Once both payments have been made in full, you own the final website we deliver to you, including the design and code built specifically for your project. Any third-party assets used in your site, such as stock photos, fonts, or plugins, remain subject to their own separate licensing terms, which we'll disclose to you if applicable.

6. Content you provide

You are responsible for providing accurate content, such as text, photos, logos, and other materials, for your website, and for confirming that you have the rights to use anything you give us. We are not responsible for reviewing your content for accuracy or legal compliance.

7. No guarantee of results

While we build your site with care, we do not guarantee specific business outcomes, including search engine rankings, traffic, leads, or bookings. Results depend on many factors outside our control.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Local Made Web is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website we build for you. Our total liability for any claim related to our services will not exceed the total amount you paid us for the project.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect as soon as they're posted on this page, and the "Effective" date at the top will be updated to reflect the most recent revision.
